Today, we thank the seventh Duchess of Bedford, Anna Russell for the pleasant tradition that is Afternoon Tea. During the Victorian times, the evening meal was served fashionable late in the Duchess’ home, thus at around 8pm. The Family has now been baking fresh, homemade cakes for 8 years and has become quite famous for their afternoon tea. Obliged in beautiful vintage china, accompanied by locally sourced loose leaf tea or even Cuthbert’s very own blend this is a real artisanal, traditional.
